Previous Work with Analogue Links

Three of the institutes currently working with digital optical links (CPPM, ISN and KTH) along with LAL, Paris also investigated the use of analogue optical links to transfer data from the calorimeter. This project has now been terminated and read-out through digital optical links is the baseline read-out solution.
