You can interact with our software with the following tools.

CVS

CVS server: The way to use the cvs repository.

LXR: a cross-referencing tool that lets you perform very fast searches to our software as it was last night. Use this tool to just browse around, to search for files, routines, classes, macros and variable names. The sources are checked out and every 6 hours.

cvsweb: a tool for browsing the CVS repository online.

Tools

Build: a tool for submitting builds. Commit your source into CVS and let this tool build it on all the platforms ATLAS supports. You will be mailed when your build starts and finishes.

Build Analyser: an analysis tool you can use to examine builds. It scans the build log files and makes note of warnings and errors, and presents this information to you in an easy-to-understand visual manner. You can also extract and analyse the configure and make parts of the log for any of your packages; it will highlight compiler errors and warnings from the log file, making it easy to find what has failed. The build tool also uses this to analyse the results of your submissions.

Queries

FAQs: Frequently asked questions about ATLAS offline software. This is based on FAQ-O-Matic, meaning anybody can submit new questions and answers.

Coordinators: a tool that shows you who's in charge of the packages, allowing you to look up information both by packages and by authors. The database is updated nightly.

Dependencies: a visualisation tool to show how packages depend on each other. Use this tool to discover how your changes might affect other developers. The package dependencies are collected nightly.
