The Muon System consists of the four Muon subsystems:
CSCs, MDTs (Precision Chambers) and RPCs, TGCs (Trigger Chambers). Please
note that due to the fact that the MDTs are only part of the Muon System,
and that there is a strong interconnection between the subsystems, MDTs
subjects cannot always be presented separtely; (but in connection
with the Muon System as a whole); this also applies for part of the items
below, both technical items and in terms of organisational matters. Thus,
also on the "MDTweb" you will encounter sections which deal with Muon System
aspects (including the MDTs).
