Present situation
We are far from having accurate measurements of inclusive decay branching
fractions of B hadrons.
At CLEO they usually measure the properties of a sample of B mesons
containing similar fractions of B0d, B0dbar, B+ and B-. At LEP there are
in addition B0s, B0sbar, b-baryons and anti-b-baryons.
What remains to be done
Inclusive algorithms have been developed which allows to tag the charge
of the B meson. It is thus possible to study the decay properties of the
B+ (or of the B-) alone.
Several measurements are of interest like:
- + B+ --> D X and B+ --> Dbar X where D can be an exclusively
reconstructed D hadron.
- + B+ --> l X and B+ --> lbar X where l is a lepton (e or mu)
- + B+ --> K X and B+ --> Kbar X where K is a charged kaon
- + B+ --> p X and B+ --> pbar X
