THE HNF EUROPEAN USER GROUP

During the "HPCN 95" conference in May 1995 in Miland a user group was founded around a number of HIPPI users.
Started as European High performance networking User Group (EHUG) this organisation organised a yearly meeting
with presentations and demonstrations around high performance networking.

In order to have a more uniform naming and in accordance with the HNF Board of directors it was decided to change the
name in 1999 to HNF-Europe.

HNF-Europe now to day has around 70 members on its mailing list.

HNF EUROPE information will be distributed in the following way.

The EHUG mailing list is used to announce the yearly meetings and to distribute some important data.

To subscribe send an e-mail to majordomo@listbox.cern.ch with the text " subscribe ehug your name <email@address "

Example subscribe ehug Joe Smith <joe.smith@fictif.ch >

An automatic answer will be mailed to the subscriber with instructions how to end the subscription.
