The OPAL Endcap Presampler Detectors |
The endcap electromagnetic presampler is an umbrella shaped arrangement of 32 chambers in 16 wedges (sectors) located between the pressure bell of the central tracking system and the endcap calorimeter, covering the full azimuthal angle 0.83 < |cos(theta)| < 0.95.
