News(2/07/2007): Affair with mysql support

A new version of affair is out:affair 3.2, with mysql support. This is the prefered affair version. Instructions in pdf on how to install and run it are found here, while it can be downloaded from here

Affair is a package which monitors the ALICE DAQ system and software (DATE) performance. It is also used as a general performance gathering and analysis tool of computer clusters.

Currently Affair is being used/tested at:

• Cluster of the experiemental particle physics group at the Rudjer Boskovic Institute
• Alice Data Challenge reference system(only available from CERN sites)
