Version 2.0 - 15 July 1998

Upgrade of templates for FrameMaker 5.5. 
Main changes are:

- Pre-configuration for book conversion to HTML using the 
  built-in "Save as HTML..." module. 

- Changed all FrameMaker filename extensions from ".doc" 
  to the new FM 5.5 standard of ".fm". 

- Added pre-defined templates for automatically update
  list of figures, tables and listings.

Version 1.0 - 23 January 1998

Initial release of User Guide Templates for FrameMaker 5.
These FrameMaker book templates for the preparation of user 
documentation consist of FrameMaker style files, or component
templates, that contain pre-defined layout appropriate for the 
various components that make up a printed book. The different 
component templates include the cover, the frontmatter, 
automatically updated table of contents, the chapter, the appendix, 
the bibliography, and the automatically updated index. A document 
is produced by organizing these component files into a FrameMaker 
book, and filling in the content. 

Additional features include: 
- Designed for multi-author editing. 
- Supports two styles of documentation writing: normal and STOP. 
- Several pre-defined page layout options to choose from. 
- Automatic generation of structured webs, with WebMaker. 
- Comprehensive user's manual.
