Based on about 220 pb$^{-1}$ of OPAL data taken at $\sqrt{s}=$203--209 GeV, several preliminary measurements and comparisons with the SM expectations are described. Cross-sections for hadronic and lepton pair final states and forward-backward asymmetries for the leptonic final states are presented. These results are used to determine $\alpha_{\rm em}$ at LEP2 energies. The differential cross-section for the process $\rm e^+e^-\rightarrow\gamma\gamma(\gamma)$ is compared to QED. Preliminary determinations of the cross-sections for WW and ZZ production and branching fractions for W decay are described. QCD studies are also presented at these highest energies, including measurements of $\alpha_{\rm s}$, jet rates, charged particle multiplicity distributions and momentum spectra. The results are generally in agreement with SM expectations. The results are used to put limits on models for new physics as described by four-fermion contact interactions, by a Z' boson, and by low scale quantum gravity in extra dimensions.
