For the first time the production of prompt photons has been studied in the collisions of quasi-real photons at LEP. The OPAL data taken at e$^+$e$^-$ centre-of-mass energies between 183 and 209 GeV have been used. The total inclusive production cross-section for isolated prompt photons in the kinematic range of transverse momentum $P_T > 3.0$~GeV and pseudorapidity $|\eta|<1$ has been determined. Differential cross-sections have been measured as a function of the produced photons's transverse momentum, pseudorapidity and of the variable $x_{LL}$ which is related to the fraction of the initial photon's momenta participating in the hard interaction. The results are compared to the leading order predictions of PYTHIA and to a next-to-leading order (NLO) calculation.
