The photon structure function $F_{2,\gamma}$ and the electron 
structure function $F_{2,\mathrm e}$ have been measured using 
data taken by the OPAL detector up to the highest e+e- centre-of-mass 
energies at LEP2. The results are cmpared to the QCD predictions.
