Search for pair-produced Leptoquarks in e+e- collisions at sqrt(s) = 189 - 202 GeV Leptoquarks (LQ) are bosonic particles predicted in many extensions of the Standard Model. Within the usual models they could be pair-produced in the electron-positron collisions at LEP. A search for events with LQ pair-production has been performed using the samples of e+e- interactions events collected by the OPAL detector at centre-of-mass energies from 189 - 202 GeV. Lower mass limits are derived as a function of the different LQ electroweak quantum numbers and of the decay branching ratio into a charged lepton and a quark, under the simplifying assumption of coupling within a single generation of leptons.
