Integration of ALFA xAOD with central system

Data tests with MIG15 release (e-mail from Tom Sykora)

Dear all, here is an example of working command for the production of ALFA xAOD:

with all recommended settings. The command was tested under slightly modified MIG15.

When ALFA will enter in global tags/settings, some settings will become obsolete. Note that database values (used in the command) were created just for the testing purpose and later settings have to correspond to the given run.

I would like to thank Attila Krasznahorkay, Paul Laycock, Andreas Salzburger, Andrea Formica and Elizabeth Gallas for their help and hints. Yes, it is not the end of the story (e.g. ALFA DCS is not in) but it seems that ALFA tracker data are in the output of the chain having the structure Libor Nozka created (thank you Libor!).

As for the derived xAOD, Ulla Blumenschein was contacted, she gave us her recommendation (Deepak and Laurent are informed) and we can proceed now in this direction. Also I assume that still we will have to fulfil some IF list to be allowed to enter in a production release - this step has to be clarified further with the reco/production group.

MC tests

In case of MC no database changes were done with respect to run 1, so everything works as before. Was tested by Tom Sykora with releases MIG15 and dev(val).
