AMBER MicroMegas detector

This TWiki is dedicated to the AMBER-Torino group and can be modified by all the members. The aim of this Twiki is to keep track of the AMBER-Torino group project on the subtitution of one MWPC B-type detector with a MicroMegas detector.

  • First MM prototype: non-resistive floating mesh MM detector: active area 6.8 x 6.8 cm2, amplification gap 128 μm, conversion gap ~ 5 mm, strips width 400 μm, strips pitch: 550 μm, mesh holes dimensions 45 x 45 μm2, mesh wires diameter: 18 μm
