About ATLASWatchMan
Here you will find an introduction to the
ATLASWatchMan package, and about the concept behind it.
Why ATLASWatchMan? A little story from everyday life...
Analyzing experimental data.
This is the goal for all of us.
We all want to easily access the data, easily read them, easily implement the idea of analysis that we had going by car to the office, in the morning...

Introduction
The
ATLASWatchMan package is a new framework for physics analysis.
The
new idea we put into this tool is the
high level of automatization in the creation of the Analysis Code.
The user can set his/her analysis (or a group of analyses, as many as he/her wants!), defining object selection, overlap removal and cuts and formulas (from a default library or as custom user-defined)...and he/she gets
as output the generated anlaysis code for all the analyses, ready to be run, together with the Athena and ARA jobOptions files to run it, locally or on the Grid ...via generated
ad hoc scripts, of course!
