We had a brief introduction to python, about creating a dictionary, in this page it is mentioned how to do this. We have to parse the CablingInfo text file. Extract from the file all the information we need. Organize all the information, as a first exercise into a dictionary . the structure is just as a first implementation (later we will try a class) .

The text below shows how to stract cabling information for Fed id 164 like DcuId and DetId. It is just needed to write the code in text editor (i like emacs) and run it with python.
