Note Almost all the colors from 101-200 are no longer available since the introduction of the color wheel in ROOT version 5.16.00. In the newer ROOT versions one can use the color wheel and the predefined constants (e.g. kRed, kCyan) to specify colors (in a TCanvas, choose menu View, menu item Colors)

For each color, the first 3 lines list the RGB components and the last line lists the gray scale equivalent.

Codes 1-5 as .eps http://www-d0.fnal.gov/~aharel/colors1.eps or Codes 1-50

Codes 51-100 as .eps http://www-d0.fnal.gov/~aharel/colors51.eps or Codes 51-100

Codes 101-150 as .eps http://www-d0.fnal.gov/~aharel/colors101.eps or Codes 101-150

Codes 151-200 as .eps http://www-d0.fnal.gov/~aharel/colors151.eps or Codes 151-200

Codes 201-250 as .eps http://www-d0.fnal.gov/~aharel/colors201.eps or Codes 201-250

The macro that produced these graphics can be found on clued0 in '/home/aharel/top/macros/colors5.c', it requires ROOT 5.

Note

If you know how to plot a rectangle using the corresponding gray (e.g. actually use the TColor to set the fill area), please let me know. For now, I do the translation by printing on a black and white printer.
