CMSSW at Uniandes

Some notes on the configuration we have at physics in Uniandes:

• location of CMSSW: /opt/exp_soft/CMS

• configuration:

source /opt/exp_soft/CMS/cmsset_default.csh

• CVSROOT configuration

At the moment, it looks there is no AFS installed (or configured) between our node and CERN. Therefore, cvs will have to use ssh.

[gridfisica-wn003] ~ > echo $CVSROOT
:kserver:cmscvs.cern.ch:/cvs_server/repositories/CMSSW

That's the default. But:

[gridfisica-wn003] ~ > kinit
kinit(v5): Cannot resolve network address for KDC in requested realm while getting initial credentials
Password for aosorio@EXAMPLE.COM:

and

[gridfisica-wn003] ~ > /usr/bin/klog
klog: error reading cell database Can't get local cell name!

Therefore we need to redefine CVSROOT: user @ cmscvs.cern.ch:cvs_server/repositories/CMSSW and CVS_RSH='ssh'
