• In order to get the validation tools work (do not change directory between the steps): be careful, the host should not have been migrated (0229)!

  • Add the path were the files should be built to the bash_profile

• In order to download the samples, do

• In order to run the package, do

  • Reco_tf.py --inputAODFile <input AOD pool.root file> --outputNTUP_PHYSVALFile <output root file> --validationFlags noExample doMuon --preExec <any additional options>

• In order to compile and run TIso for the extraction of the xAOD files do (the project is located here: /afs/cern.ch/work/a/alesage/public/in_Run/alesageDev/Qualification, or on SVN: svn co svn+ssh://svn.cern.ch/reps/alesageDev/Qualification):
  • Add these lines to the bash_profile

  • export ATLAS_LOCAL_ROOT_BASE=/cvmfs/atlas.cern.ch/repo/ATLASLocalRootBase

  • alias setupATLAS='source ${ATLAS_ROOT_BASE}/user/atlasLocalSetup.sh'

  • setupATLAS

  • Then, do the following in your working directory (where an input file should have been created linking to where to find the input *.pool.root files):

  • rcSetup Base,2.3.6

  • rc checkout import_packages

  • rc find_packages

  • rc compile

  • Then, in order to run the code, do:

  • TIsoRun <input file> <output file> <calibration: true or false> <fitting parameters file> <starting index> <increment> <warning state: 0, 1, or 2>

  • To submit jobs on batch (or in screens), edit the file script.sh and do sh script.sh in the working directory.
