Dataset finder

To find the names, availabilities and locations of the Monte Carlo datasets on the Grid, you need to use AMI. A link is provided here. Look in the table below for the dataset number of the process you're interested in, and type it in this box. Click the button, and the corresponding information will appear in a separate window. Note that datasets of all types and versions originating from this sample (EVNT, RDO, HITS, AOD, D3PD) will be displayed.


Sample list

Note: cross sections are for guidance only. They were produced with a run of 5000 or 500 events. The numbers for PythiaB channels are read off from the package's cross section report. The numbers for Pythia channels are taken from the "metadata" report. Numbers in the XS (mb) column do not include any correction factors for decays on the other (unforced) b-quark, BRs for forced decays or filtering efficiency. The numbers in the Corrected XS column include all correction factors. Correction factors shows the assumed BRs for forced decays and possibly a factor of 2 for symmetry in the case of signal samples. BRs are taken from PDG2008 (if avalable), 0.06 is used for BR(Jpsi->mumu).
