Timing Layer

The PCBs arrived to the Lab. Today probes and resistors will be installed. Compact rio will be installed to readout the PT1000. MTD-DPG: Mia has to contact Chiara in Rome to understand the calibrations. Current MTD info are currently used this way: tracks from tracker are propagated to MTD and then the time info back-propagated to the vertex using the hypotheses of pion or proton.

Fabrizio: In Legnaro using the analysis of the thin fiber to understand the pollution of the gas (live it in the flow for a few days, take out and then analyse it). The plan is to have the same at CERN.

Tracker/tracking

Discussing with the MI ppl how to use the vertex reco used in the VDM scans.
