Detector

Longevity meeting : ressults are consistent but difficult to interpret. Looking for polluting materials (so far: I, the oring and something in the front end, not yet identified). Gas circuit will be split : 24 MB1 chambers exposed to a larger radiation damage will be dealt with on their own. Looking for ageing test on the chambers in the detector. No alarm in CMS , but there might trigger issues in the forward region (theta~45 degrees), where MB1 triggers alone. Tracking trigger might help, except for out of time muons from HSCP. A presentation in 20-30 months.
