Framework & production

Federica and Massimo Sgravato proposed to present the Padova's infrastructure (including cloud) in our Thursday's meeting. First proposal was for the CMS-week's Thursday. Since many people won't be in PAdova, to be found an alternative.

Analysis

B physics

A BPH analysis was chosen as LHCP highlights (Chi_b mass split). Good results on the BsToJpsiPhi analysis, with a large sample of signal under study so far 200k events found in 2017 dataset, this leads to a 3x statistics wrt run1 analysis (but with higher tagging power expected). The expected statistical uncert will reach the ballpark of the syst uncert.

Charged Higgs to top-beauty

Dibosons, VZ resonance (V=W,Z)

4B full hadronic

A cuple of bugs found after the approval, that make the results 30% worse, due to conservative systematics.

VH SM

Same sign dileptons

Studying possibility to perform the SM analysis for associated H+W->WWW(1 hadronic, 2 leptonic) production. In preparation by Sew-Yan the machinery for the analysis, to be defined selections. Studies ongoing for the discrepant feature on 2016 and 2017 samples

EPR

Sew Yan (MC gen comparison) comparing sherpa-madgraph -> in two weeks will be able to get some results

Trigger(less)

Study for 40MHz readout: the setup is completed (DT prototype / workstation), but workstation having difficulty consuming hits from the buffer.
