B physics

Approval went well. Some extra test currently by Enrico (rerunning the fit as a function of Gamma). We measured the arithmetic measurement of the 2 lifetimes of the 2 eigenstates. This is not easy to compare to the effective lifetime of the B_s->Jpsi/Phi Bragagnolo selected for the CERN seminar. We might have a reharsal this week. LHCP in Paris has been moved by one year. in 2022 LHCP Taipei.

Heavy New Physics

not much to report. Redoing 2017 data. Minor changes for QCD estimation. Target to complete in 2 weeks. Exo group has ICHEP in mind.

VBS

Report last Tuesday. Presented the status w/ 2017 samples (anomalous quartic coupling). Kind of an introductory group, and also the EMFT interpretation was presented, the group accepted our idea. Several signal samples will be processed by our group.

WH_SS

Ugo: further studies on background. Wgamma mainly. Alberto: changing the conf also in the Latino framework. proposal to switch to the MVA lepton ID.

Same sign dileptons

Ugo: thanks to the samples provided by Alberto now we can understand better the small but not negligible contributions of the Higgs channels to the signal region.

We has a meeting on Friday to decide responsibilities. Massimo was participating and is willing to take some part on the activities. Need to do some temperature measurement. We will need some help for readout of the temperatures, fluxes. SAndro: what will be needed can be bought off the shelf. Need to design the requirements.

Tracker/tracking

This afternoon discussion with MTD ppl to include it in the tracking. Low pt track efficiencies show some strange behaviour.
