CSC Segment and LCT efficiencies

  • Segment and LCT efficiencies calculated using Tag and Probe methodology with Z boson candidates
  • Probe legs are tracker tracks that combined with the tag muon have an invariant mass consistent or near the Z boson mass
  • Background treated using a sideband subtraction method
  • Using LHC Run 2 data collected by the CMS detector from the Zmu (muon + track) event sample
