Instructions to run Beacon

If you want to run a script with the NU wrapper developed by James Bueghly. You need to follow this steps

kinit corderom@FNAL.GOV

ssh corderom@cmslpc-sl6NOSPAMPLEASE.fnal.gov

Go to nobackup folder, because it has more space. and build your working directory and compile Beacon.

cd nobackup

source /cvmfs/cms.cern.ch/cmsset_default.sh

source /cvmfs/cms.cern.ch/crab3/crab.sh

export SCRAM_ARCH=slc6_amd64_gcc630
cmsrel CMSSW_9_4_9_cand2
cd CMSSW_9_4_9_cand2/src
cmsenv
git cms-init
git cms-merge-topic cms-egamma:EgammaPostRecoTools_940
git cms-merge-topic cms-met:METFixEE2017_949
git clone -b jbueghly_2017 git@github.com:NWUHEP/BaconAna
git clone -b jbueghly_2017 git@github.com:NWUHEP/BaconProd
tar -xzvf /uscms/home/jbueghly/nobackup/bacon/bacon_2017_prod/jbueghly_2017/CMSSW_9_4_9_cand2/src/jbueghly_2017_depends.tar.gz 
scram b clean
scram b -j 12

After you want to go to CMSSW_9_4_9_cand2/src/BaconProd/Ntupler/crab/

There you want to edit the variable in the file makingBacon_Data_25ns_MINIAOD.py with the path of the data or MC sample that you want to Ntuplize.

Finally run the wrapper

./data_multicrab_2017 -c submit
