Online Data Management man pages

Man pages are available on the web for the following components:

• LFC man pages
• DPM man pages
• lcg_util man pages
• GFAL man pages
• FTS man pages

How to put the Data Management man pages online ?

Requirements

You need:

• to be root on a machine,
• where the rman utility is installed

Step by step

• Remove the existing RPMs:

rpm -e --nodeps LFC-client LFC-interfaces GFAL-client lcg-dm-common lcg_util \
DPM-name-server-mysql DPM-srm-server-mysql DPM-gridftp-server DPM-rfio-server DPM-client DPM-server-mysql

• Go to the following AFS directory (provided you have access to it...)

cd /afs/cern.ch/project/gd/www/documentation/LFC_DPM

• Make sure that the latest RPMs are under the /afs/cern.ch/project/gd/www/documentation/LFC_DPM/rpms directory.

• And run:

./convert_to_html.sh

• That's it !
