Install DQ2 clients with pacman

1. setup your local pacman

[atlassmg]/data2> source /data2/atlas_soft/pacman-3.26/setup.sh (if you did NOT have the lastest pacman, see how to do here)

[atlassmg]/data2> mkdir DQ2Clients

[atlassmg]/data2> cd DQ2Clients

[atlassmg]/data2/DQ2Clients> pacman -trust-all-caches -allow tar-overwrite -get http://atlas.web.cern.ch/Atlas/GROUPS/DATABASE/project/ddm/releases/pacman/cache:DQ2Clients

Tip, idea Installation is done :)

Setup dq2 on USTC ui

Tip, idea make sure your have CA first, You should have usercert.pem and userkey.pem under ~/.globus.

[$user@*]~> source /data2/DQ2Clients/setup.sh

[$user@*]~> export DQ2_LOCAL_SITE_ID=ROAMING

[$user@*]~> voms-proxy-init -voms atlas

Enter GRID pass phrase:

Your identity: /C=CN/O=HEP/O=USTC/OU=PHYS/CN=*

Creating temporary proxy ................................................... Done

Contacting  voms.cern.ch:15001 [/DC=ch/DC=cern/OU=computers/CN=voms.cern.ch] "atlas" Done

Creating proxy ...................................................... Done

Your proxy is valid until Wed Apr 14 22:29:47 2010

Tip, idea dq2 tool should work now

Update dq2 tool

If you want to upgrade the clients, check this webpage for the latest release:

https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/Atlas/DQ2Clients

then execute (in the directory where you installed the tools before):

pacman -get "http://atlas.web.cern.ch/Atlas/GROUPS/DATABASE/project/ddm/releases/pacman/cache:DQ2Clients | version('version number')

e.g.: pacman -get "http://atlas.web.cern.ch/Atlas/GROUPS/DATABASE/project/ddm/releases/pacman/cache:DQ2Clients | version('0.1.13')
