PIC connection with outer world: OPN and internet

Data transfers from/to other WLCG sites go through the OPN. Other connections go through internet. In the current network topology, internet connection goes through the firewall.

PIC connection with outer world goes through Anella. The link to reach CERN goes to: Anella, Rediris which goes to Madrid, then back to some place close to Pirineos and to Geneva, through the GEANT infrastructure.

Monitoring of network traffic

• Enlace principal OPN 10 Gbps para transferencias T0-T1
• Backup de la OPN de 1 Gbps
• Enlace Internet: go to cacti URL, select host NOKIAIPS01280 nkpic.pic.es and template Interface (bit/s).
• Enlace interno entre los WNs y el Storage del PIC
