Configuration files for aMC@NLO
Below you can find the configuration files, which were used for the event generation in
aMC@NLO.
Note
- In aMC@NLO the loop_sm model is automatically used. While in MadGraph5 the sm model is used. For that reason some default settings could be different!
Parameter Card used in aMC@NLO
This parameter card is used in
aMC@NLO for the Generator Comparison.
Notes
- In aMC@NLO Version2.0.0Beta3 the default value for the Higgs boson mass was given by MH = 120 GeV.
- Since MadGraph5/aMC@NLO Version2.0.0 the default value for the Higgs boson mass is set to MH = 125 GeV.
- Deviating from the default parameter card in the above parameter card was the top quark mass set to MT = 172.5 GeV. The value for the Yukawa coupling of the top quark was changed accordingly to ymt = 172.5 GeV.
Run Cards used in aMC@NLO
Notes
- In aMC@NLO Version2.0.0Beta3 the default value for the beam energy was given by ebeam1 = ebeam2 = 3.5 TeV.
- Since MadGraph5/aMC@NLO Version2.0.0 the default value for the Higgs boson mass is set to ebeam1 = ebeam2 = 6.5 TeV.
- Normally for the event generation a beam energy of ebeam1 = ebeam2 = 8 TeV was used.
- The default number of unweighted events requested in aMC@NLO is nevents = 1E4.
- Normally for the event generation the number of requested unweighted events was increased to nevents = 1E5.
- When a fixed renormalization and factorisation scale was used, normally the renormalization and factorisation scale factor was set to muR_ref_fixed = muF1_ref_fixed = muF2_ref_fixed = 235 GeV.
