How to handle the tape drive and tape media problems

Too many mounts today
  • Check the rtcpd logs on the tape servers that mounted the tape (especially if the transferred bytes were 0)
    • RTCPD log message: rtcpd_Mount() Ctape_mount() Volume busy or inaccessible
      • Probably the tape is stuck in a drive: dismount it from the GUI and if there are no other problems reenable it
