Code to Plot data from a file:

  • The code basic2.C creates a ntuple for a data file that contains the data distributed in columns.
  • The code trans.C take as input two .root files that contain the information of the data set (ntuples) created with the previous code, and create a comparisson plot with these data.
  • The code counter.bas reset and initialize the counters in the QIE chip be to tested.
  • The code h5_trans.bas register the mantissa per range in the chip and the charge, and creates a data file with this information.

Configure the GUI to take data (aging test)

  • Select dut2 as a master device
  • Reset the FPGA and other values (QIE, Register,...)
  • Redefine the Shadow register with the value: FF80 0E00 0026 1FEF
  • Load the Shadow register
  • Read the Shadow register (to check if the value is the same that we introduce)
  • Star the test
  • Select the time interval for the writing of the data and the output file name
  • For more information the file QIERadTest (attached files) have all the information related with the test
