If you use DAQInterface at the command line, there are two things to be aware of:

1) It won't automatically cause data to flow, at least, not if the constructor / start() function in the timing fragment generator doesn't.

2) Online monitoring needs to be done manually, described in the "Monitoring Live Data" section of https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/CENF/ArtdaqBasicOp

Elaborating on 1), the instructions on how to get data to flow in https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/CENF/ArtdaqBasicOp are obsolete. they're now covered in https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/CENF/TimingSystemBasicOp#Quick_start_guide

Having said all that, you can do "setdaqcomps.sh cob1_rce01 cob1_rce02 cob1_rce03 cob1_rce05 cob1_rce06 cob1_rce07 cob2_rce01 cob2_rce02 timing_0" to set the components that are being used in the current run, e.g., and you can add wibs to that line as well.
