Dear all,
for the ongoing r21 analyses, PC is reminding us to please fill in the timeline in glance (see the usual wiki [1]). This is important as analyses are tracked at a higher level (including timelines) [2].
There are two timelines in glance:
Section: Analysis coordinators’ target date
  • The target date is the date when the analysis aims for ATLAS circulation (note that recommendation has changed!)
Section: Editorial Board meeting data
  • Editorial Board timeline: this is the timeline discussed between the analysis team and the editorial board and should be set at the first EB meeting.
Please make sure that at least the first one is filled for your analysis.
Cheers, Marie-Helene & Gabriel

Dear All,
We have put together a new TWiki InfoForExoticsAnalyzers that collects useful information for analyzers that has been presented in Exotics analyses in the recent past (including the Exotics Workshop in Rome). This is meant to make your life as an analyzer easier.
Many include recorded sessions with tutorials and summary TWiki that should help you get started or better understand a few analysis topics. The topics covered are:
  • GitLab
  • Documentation
  • Signal Interpolation (including for long-lived particles)
  • Background Estimation with Functional Forms
  • Machine Learning
  • Statistics
  • Combinations
Beyond that, there is also a list of "Maybe hard-to-find but great-to-have TWikis" (this used to be at the bottom of the Exotics TWiki) which cover:
  • Physics Planning From PC
  • Data and Trigger
  • Monte Carlo Requests
  • Derivations
  • Known Issues
  • Storage
  • Finding Documentation
  • Common Analysis Questions
Please take 10 minutes and look through and familiarize yourself with what content is available today.
This TWiki, InfoForExoticsAnalyzers, is now at the top of the ExoticsTWiki (look for the green text).
Note, the content will change over time. If you have any suggestions for additional information or changes to what is already there, please do not hesitate to let us know.
Finally, and most importantly, we want to thank all of those who have helped put the TWikis and slides together and who gave nice presentations and allowed us to record them. Your effort and knowledge will hopefully benefit many people!
Cheers, Kalliopi, Attilio, Christoph, Katharina, Matteo, Sam, Yasu, Nikolina, Monica, John, Gabriel & Marie-Helene
