CERN-IT Collaboration in 2019

np04 schedule:

  • 2019
    • np04 testing - cathode HV, liquid Argon purity
    • DUNE testing - readout, timing, trigger
    • Reimplement coldbox - APA7 arrives in Q1 2019 - nitrogen cryo system, readout and control
  • 2020 * Empty cryostat of liquid argon and cut a hole in the side * Install new APAs - coldbox testing of APAs, new electronics too.
    • DUNE testing - readout, timing, trigger
  • 2021
    • Test beam run
    • DUNE testing - readout, timing, trigger

Items to address in 2019:

  • Wireless at ehn1 - we have suffered with this for the last two years. Regularly need to connect to a wired connection. Signal strength has been verified a number of times as being excellent. So there is probably a configuration issue.
  • Accounts at CERN and Fermilab - this might just be a non-computing administrative issue.
  • Authentication at CERN and Fermilab
  • Scientific Linux vs. CentOS - does DUNE core software run on both?
  • Remote access to np04 - run control, online monitoring
  • Support model for DUNE while working at CERN.
  • np04 computing support from neutrino platform? This is what I hear. So I guess this is Giovanna. And me from afar?
  • Logbook - Right now we have the Atlas logbook supported by Giovanna.
