Network Bonding
Commands
ifdown did not work.
[root@np04-srv-001 network-scripts]# cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS Linux release 7.4.1708 (Core)
[root@np04-srv-003 network-scripts]# uname -a
Linux np04-srv-003 3.10.0-514.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Nov 22 16:42:41 UTC 2016 x86
- ip link set down ens802f0
- ip link set down ens802f1
np04-srv-001-ctrl
Steps:
- Create /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-bond0. Still need BONDING_OPTS.
[root@np04-srv-001 network-scripts]# cat ifcfg-bond0
DEVICE=bond0
NAME=bond0
TYPE=Bond
BONDING_MASTER=yes
PREFIX=24
ONBOOT=yes
BOOTPROTO=dhcp
Interfaces
- Gigabit interfaces = enp8s0f0 and enp8s0f1
- Ten Gigabit interfaces = ens802f0 and ens802f1
