Update of KEK/HPK status

• Slide4: increadibly stable current and small (O(100nA)/FEI4 area), up to 1000V: GR contacted?
• Slide6: Efficiency from beam test
• Slide7: Charge collection efficiency: normalized to the value at 1000V

• Slide17: 700 MeV-p at RNCP in Osaka: it needs to be investigated

Results with n-in-p pixel sensors irradiated up to a fluence of 1e16 neq/cm2 and future productions at CiS

IBL production status

• Luciano's comment: Anna parla di maschera uniforme per rimuovere il coating di allumina, come se si forse una cosa ovvia, ma in realtà la maschera deve essere sui bordi deichip, il che non è certo un processo standard e non si presta a essere eseguito sulle macchine di processo standard. Richiederà un bricoalge manuale....

Daniel's comments on SCP

• Join them
• Cleaved better than before cleaving
• Right now the 'thing' is US-based (Navy!): let's see if we can do this EU-based
• Easy for n-bulk: SiO2. Harder for p-type: ALD of Alumina
• Anna's comment: not proven technology

Brief look at IBL planar module status, bump-bonding possibilities for "non-IBL" R&D at IZM, FE-I4B adapter cards, FE-I4B wafer order

• Slide9: FEI4B: 16 wafers received early December
  • Testing started on Dec 15
  • 3 FE-I4B irradiated in Los Alamos
• Slide 10: No flip chip to non IBL sensors will happen in the next 6-8 months

Discussion on irradiation plans for 2012, sample shipments, wirebonding sites, ...
