POWHEG production instructions for Spring 11 samples

• downoad the POWHEG_BOX HEAD:

svn checkout --username anonymous --password anonymous svn://powhegbox.mib.infn.it/trunk/POWHEG-BOX 

• source the CMSSW environment:

cd ../../../CMSSW_4_1_3/src/; cmsenv; cd -

• setup environment variables with the script setuppowheg.sh:

export LHAPDFSYS=/afs/cern.ch/sw/lcg/external/MCGenerators/lhapdf/5.8.5/x86_64-slc5-gcc43-opt
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:$LHAPDFSYS/lib
export PATH=$PATH:$LHAPDFSYS/bin
export PATH=$PATH:/afs/cern.ch/cms/sw/slc5_amd64_gcc434/external/fastjet/2.4.0/bin

• modify the Makefile in POWHEG-BOX/ZZ:

• change the LHEGLUE numbers to get CT10, in the file powheg.input:

lhans1   10800      ! pdf set for hadron 1 (LHA numbering)
lhans2   10800      ! pdf set for hadron 2 (LHA numbering)
