The first plot is the background of 6 jet events in the 13TeV data. The second plot is just the first plot zoomed in. Last Wednesday, I noticed that when I constrained the mass windows to span [0,200], there seemed to a "build-up" of events at the highest mass window (this can also be seen in the first plot's very last mass window). For that reason, I have extended the mass windows to span [0,600] to see how the background behaved. Clearly, it is dying off gradually. I am unclear on how I might want to fit this. |
