Ntuple v03 : Development/Release notes

  • General
    • All double variable are now stored as float variable
  • New Collections
    • GsfTracks
      • New GsfTrack collection is available.
      • In addition to track variables, number of lost (valid) hits is stored (nLostHits, nValidHits). InnerHit position and OuterHit position is available. Normalized chi² is also stored.
      • GsfTracks are matched with tracks : MatchedTrack variable contain the track index. Return -1 if the matching was unsuccessful.
    • PFJets
      • New uncorrected Particle Flow Jet collection is available.
    • PFMET
      • New uncorrected Particle Flow MET collection is available.
      • For the 22X CMSSW release, it seems that special PF variable are all set to zero.
    • MET
      • New corrected MET collection is available
      • Corrections has made by PAT.
  • Old Collections Changes
    • Electrons
      • The cluster shape variable sigma iEta iEta (sigiEtaiEta) is now available.
      • PAT (22X) Electron ID variable are now available : Loose, RobustLoose (RLoose), RobustHighEnergy (RHE), RobustTight (RTight), Tight.
      • The Bremsstrahlung fraction (fBrem) is available. If an error occured, fBrem is equal to 10³⁰.
      • HCAL and Tracker Isolation Deposits has been removed.
    • Muons
      • PAT (22X) Muon ID variables are now available : GlobalMuons, StandAloneMuons, GlobalMuonPromptTight, TMLastStationOptimizedLowPtLoose (TMLSOLPLoose), TMLastStationOptimizedLowPtTight (TMLSOLPTight).
      • If the muon is StandAlone or Global, the normalized chi² is now stored. Otherwise, normChi2 variable is equal to -100.
      • HCAL and Tracker Isolation Deposits has been removed.
    • Tracks
      • z0 and d0 variables are now stored.
      • Tracks are now matched with refitted tracks : rechits are now available in the main part of tracks (id, rho, eta, phi). The boolean variable "refitedTrack" indicates if the track was matched sucessfully. If not, no rechits are stored (array size equal to 0).
    • CaloJets/CaloTowers
      • Index bug is fixed. The CaloTowers from CaloJets and from CaloTower Collection share the same index.
    • RunSummary
      • Madgraph generator does not give cross section and filter information. By default the values are fixed at -100.
