Hi Maria,

I looked at the new tag for Jets(pre5).

I use ORCA871.

different inputs and calibrations were compared, only difference comes from using SplittedEpHUELL instead of EpHUELL.

The results from JetsV1(March05) when UE curves of LowLum are used and GamJet calibration is set in the RecQuery are exactly same as the results of new jets when same input is used and GamJet calibration is set either inside the RecQuery or is called after finding the jets. The later result is shown here http://cmsdoc.cern.ch/~cms-bsm/jets/UELLPUGamJetNotRcQur.eps.

The result of using the SplittedEpH... is shown in http://cmsdoc.cern.ch/~cms-bsm/jets/SplitdEpHUELLPUGamJetNotRcQur.eps. The ears in Eta distribution are completely removed.

The plots in this files are: left-top: Et of the leading jet (Et >30 and |eta| < 2.5) right-top:Et of the next-to-leading jet (Et >30 and |eta| < 2.5) left-bottom: Jet multiplicity(Et >30) right-bottom: Eta distribution(Et >30)

The sample is 250 SUSY events with HL pileup read from DST.(my own sample of Stop)

Saeid
