Issue with search on Functional Elements

What

Issue with search on Functional Elements reported by Eric Bonfillou (RQF000766) and later on by Veronique Favrot (RQF0010044). The same issue affects Customer Services and Service Elements.

How

This happened after the List v2 plugin was installed.

The problem was coming from the List Control which were restricted to the 'cmdb_admin' role. This became an issue with the new list plugin.

To change the List Control:

• click on the Functional Element magnifying glass
• on the list of Functional Elements you get, right click
• Personalize > List Control
• remove 'cmdb_admin' from the list of roles

The search is now available to everyone again:

Repeat for Service Elements and Customer Services.
