  • execute following commands to create a root histogram containing pp0 and pin current per channel.
  • it's the same root tree structure as JF's root tree but, Quadrant, RODName, and frontplate are not filled.

InLink scan studies

The IPin current (an estimator of TX laser power) increase with respect to time in Pit.

• Do we observe the same behavior in SR1?
• What is the uncertaintiy of PIN current measurement?
  • did inlink scan consecutively three times at 7am and 7pm for one week.
• What is the temperature dependence of PIN current?
  • store Opto-temp and inLink scan current at the same time

The TX laser current doesn't change during scan. The problem can be solved by re-initialize RODs.

SCAN 7407, Jul 30 7:00, The other RODs are fine except ROD 14, 21.

• x-axis: channel 0~31, 8 channels per PP0
• y-axis:
  • entry 1: each Channel Laser Current 00
  • entry 2: wait time for entry 1 ( one count 2 seconds)
  • entry 3: each Channel Laser Current A0 one at a time
  • entry 5: wait time for entry 3 ( one count 2 seconds)
  • entry 6: each Channel Laser Current A0
• Since it happend twice per week on Jul 26 2008, Jul 30 2008, Jens suggested to print out the handshake between ROD/BOC and values of BOC register after we write command.

Opto Tune

• S7704 is 3D tag in NewDsp, the VISET is set to 800mV after scan
• However, the BOC_CONFIGURATION shows the VISET is 750mV?
