PG Tau Ele Analysis

trigger requirement

• the code is here: /RootTools/python/analyzers/TriggerAnalyzer.py
• the triggers are here: H2TauTau/python/proto/samples/triggers_tauEle.py
• the trigger request happens.... at the tree production level?

kinematic selection

• electron ID and veto, lepton kinematic selections: in testLeg2 from H2TauTau/python/proto/analyzers/TauEleAnalyzer.py

tree production

• the definition of the tree: H2TauTau/python/proto/analyzers/H2TauTauTreeProducerTauEle.py
• the definition of the filling function for single leptons: H2TauTau/python/proto/analyzers/ntuple.py
• need a modification of: RootTools/python/physicsobjects/PhysicsObjects.py

plots production

• python -i src/CMGTools/H2TauTau/python/proto/plot_H2TauTauDataMC.py test_19_05 test_tauEle_cfg_19_05.py -H mt
  • the cfg file test_tauEle_cfg.py is the same as used to produce the trees (smart thing to save it as soon as the production started)
  • the command here is run from ~/work/H2TauTau and src is a soft link to a CMGTools area
  • the folder with the trees is test_19_05
