Micromegas Testbeams
gettin' started - installation
Recomm installation
Preliminary code
I'll try to add here some very basic code to understand the analysis.
1. opening a root a file:
root run15193.root
TBrowser s
apv_raw_ped->Draw("ped_stdev","mmChamber==\"SM1_M0\"")
And now we plotted the std deviation of the pedestal (~noise) of the module 0.
Some more code
here i'll add some more files, with more functionality
Getting the ROOT files
from the pc
@testbeam
first ssh in
dateuser@mmdaqpc3
and find the files you want. then:
scp
dateuser@mmdaqpc3:/data/2016/TestBeam_24_05_2016/run15081 .
from the MM "database" pc
all the testbeam and lab data (since 2009) have been moved to a new server pc with the name
pcmmdata. You can login with your nice account and password via ssh:
ssh username@pcmmdata.cern.ch
The data are sitting under the directory
/home/data in subfolders arranged chronologically. Please, if you find any data missing or any inconsistency send us an email, but normally everything should be already there.
(ps. We still have to copy some data from the last couple of days of the current test beam at H4…)
IMPORTANT: In order to be able to login to pcmmdata you need first to subscribe to the e-group
atlas-muon-micromega-sw <a data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?hl=en-GB&q=https://e-groups.cern.ch/e-groups/Egroup.do?egroupName%3Datlas-muon-micromega-sw&source=gmail&ust=1464533030166000&usg=AFQjCNEx-ogot_j9emYaptmJSFnTEQXVkg" href="https://e-groups.cern.ch/e-groups/Egroup.do?egroupName=atlas-muon-micromega-sw" target="_blank">https://e-groups.cern.ch/e-groups/Egroup.do?egroupName=atlas-muon-micromega-sw</a>
