Results
- 856M for all the sample H160_WW_2l : 130300 events -> stored /castor/cern.ch/user/a/amassiro/VBF/SimpleTree/VBF_SimpleTree_H160_WW_2l.root
Tagging
Tagging Quark and GenJet
- tagging between quark and genJet. Distribution of jets ΔR minimum distance between Jets and tag quarks if both quarks are tagged with different GenJets . Cut value chosen ΔR = 0.3
- tagging between quark and genJet. Efficiency of ΔR selection. Efficiency = number of events with ΔR < x / total number of VBF events
- tagging between genJet (ΔR = 0.3 with tag quarks) and recoJet . Distribution of jets ΔR minimum distance between recoJets and genJets. Cut value chosen ΔR = 0.3
- tagging between genJet (ΔR = 0.3 with tag quarks) and recoJet . Efficiency of ΔR selection. Efficiency = number of events with ΔR < x / total number of VBF events
Tagging Quark and RecoJet
- tagging between recoJet and Quarks . Efficiency of ΔR selection. Efficiency = number of events with ΔR < x / total number of VBF events
Tagging Quark-GenJet and Quark-RecoJet comparison
- tagging between genJet and Quark versus recoJet and Quark . Distribution of jets ΔR minimum distance.
Tagging Quark-GenJet-RecoJet and Quark-RecoJet comparison
- tagging between RecoJet-(genJet)-Quark versus RecoJet-Quark . Distribution of jets ΔR minimum distance.
Number of RecoJets analyzer
- Number of RecoJets (in any η region) in a VBF event (pythia 123 || 124)
Pt analyzer
- MC matching genParticles (quarks that produced Higgs) and genJet ΔR = 0.3: normalized distribution of pT of the taggedGenJet and Pt of all the genJets
- Distribution of pT of reco jets for tagged (Quark-Gen-Reco) and all jets
sample with
L2+L3 correction
- From a VBF sample, for each event I get one RecoJet, chosen using a random generator. A recoJet is tagged if ΔR Reco-(Gen)-Quark < 0.4. Distribution of pT of reco jets for tagged (Quark-Gen-Reco) and not tagged jets. Pt distribution and after L2+L3 correction
- Ratio between pT of reco Jets and genJets
ΔR = 0.4
CaloJet and L2+L3 correction
Mjj analyzer
- Mjj distribution of recoJets and TaggedRecoJets ΔR = 0.3 (normalized distribution)
Mj analyzer
- Mj distribution of recoJets and TaggedRecoJets ΔR = 0.3 (normalized distribution)
Purity
- purity of recoJets with the two methods maxMjj and maxPt. Both quark matched. No geometrical/energetic selection applied
Jet Energy corrections
η analyzer
- η distribution of tagged GenJets ΔR = 0.3
- η distribution of tagged GenJets ΔR = 0.3 2D: first and second jetTag (first = index quark 6, second = index quark 7) -> sign( η 1 x η 2 ) = -1. Region IV / All = 18849 / 21613 ~ 87%

- From a VBF sample, for each event I get one pair of RecoJets, chosen using a random generator. A pair of recoJets is tagged if both recoJets are tagged, that is if ΔR Reco-(Gen)-Quark < 0.4. Distribution of ΔR between reco jets for tagged (Quark-Gen-Reco) and not tagged jets. Image
