Data
Laser data from Federico Ferri, 20.2.2013,
email
- tar.gz file in /afs/cern.ch/user/f/ferriff/public/ForDave/
- 20 eta slices. Each .dat file is of the form #x y +dx -dx +dy -dy where x is the time, y is the average response, +/-dx are zero and +/-dy define the band containing 68% of the crystal for the specific region.

DaveC analysis 14.5.2013
Initial try to analyse laser response plots to pull out separate VPT and crystal components.
Analysis files:
EE-
EE+
The files to analyse the laser data and extract the VPT and crystal part:
File histories-read.C reads region hist-eta01.dat with Long64_t nlines = T->ReadFile("hist-eta01.dat","x:y:pdx:mdx:pdy:mdy") and writes file histories.root
This corresponds to eta01 --> -3.0 < eta < -2.7.
Data for VPT response loss estimated from VPT conditioning losses in log book, for eta = 2.9 using estimated pencil curve below

DaveC analysis from December 2012
Set up UVa and Brunel data (up to Dec 2012 at the moment) using file:
Then, run plotter for losses vs integrated lumi, for 3 eta bands using file
Notes:
- assume a photo-current of 1 nA at 1034 at 14 TeV at eta = 2.2 from Imrie predictions
- assume a correction factor of 0.8 for flux from 14 TeV to 7-8 TeV
- assume dose factor 7.6 from eta = 2.2 to 2.9
- assume dose factor 0.26 from eta = 2.2 to 1.8
- 5 fb-1 integrated lumi = 5.105 s at 1034
- Photo-cathode integrated charge is 0.5 mC for 5 fb-1 assuming 1 nA at 14 TeV at 1034

VPT Faceplate losses

Feb 2012, P Hobson, VPT faceplate losses from Protons
On slide 7, for Adam Butler's estimates of Jan-March 2014, we assumed 100*10**11 p/cm2 corresponded to a dose of 20 kGy.
