How to configure your Browser

• Open a tunnel on cmsusrslc50: ssh -ND highport username@cmsusrslc50

• Configure your Firefox browser accordingly: Manual Proxy Configuration with port highport No proxy for: localhost, 127.0.0.1

• If it's the first time you are going to use RPC WBM please follow these further instructions:
  • Go to the address: 'about:config', accept the advice, if needed
  • Search for 'dns’
  • Double click on network.proxy.socks_remote_dns to make it 'true’

• Now you are ready for WBM. Just go to the URL: http://vmepcs2b18-37.cms:7070/WBMTools/

Available features in WMB

In this WBM Tools page the user can find all the committed template queries that can be used. They can be find in the RPC folder on the left just clicking on it. The name of the query already explain its query, if it's related to high voltage (HV), FEB low voltage (LV), currents (I), or temperatures (T) and if they are for Barrel or Endcap chambers.

Clicking on a specific template will open in the right frame some further instruction on the query, the query itself and the run number which must be specified by the user.

Clicking on "Execute" the query starts and it can require a quite long time. Results can be seen in the "Results" folder in the upper left.
