Plan for Work

This is a list of posibles tasks during my stay at CERN:

To compare the distributions of some variables in samples w/outpileup for Trigger Robustness studies.

  • To do this, is need identify some samples on which to make plots. Samples reconstructed from RDOs with Release 13.0.30.3 using as job option:
    • testElectronSliceAthenaModernRDO.py, where the following signatures for electrons have been fitted out:
      • "TriggerFlags.EgammaSlice.unsetAll()"
      • "TriggerFlags.EgammaSlice.signatures" = {"e10", "e25i", "2e15i", e10TRTxK","Zee", "Jpsiee"}.
  • The data samples are:
    • Single particle electron without pileup:
      • trig1_misal1_mc12.007020.singlepart_e_Et780.digit.RDO.v12000605_tid013437
    • Single particle electron with pileup
      • trig1_pile1sf05_misal1_mc12_v1.007020.singlepart_e_Et780.digit.RDO.v12000605_tid013482
    • Z --> ee with pileup
      • trig1_pile1sf05_misal1_csc11_v1.005144.PythiaZee.digit.RDO.v12000605_tid009362
    • Z --> ee without pileup
      • misal1_csc11_V1.005144.PythiaZee.digit.RDO.v12003103

  • The paths of these samples are, respectively (Those labeled with "D" were created by Deywis Moreno):
    • /space2/deywis/single_rel13_ESD_from_RDO/
    • /space2/deywis/rel13/SinglePileup/ntuples (D)
    • /space2/deywis/rel13/ZeePileup/ntuples (D)
