Introduction

Plots and tables should be provided will be collected in this page for the paper using

we follow the procedure:

  • Event selction,
    • Table of selected events of each physics process and data, the sum of MC final events should compatible to the data, otherwise the reason should be figured out
    • Compare the as much properties as possible between the data and MC, such as objects 4m distribution, relations distribution between objects, this will help understand the discrepency above
  • Reconstruction of ttbar system
    • Compare the reconstructed particles between MC and data
  • Measurement
    • Correction function from MC, this correction function should work for the MC test.
  • Uncerntainties

Time Scale:

  • June, 9: All systematic uncertainties, INT note draft ready

  • June 2: slection table of all data and background, QCD estimation and Wjets estimation.

  • May 25: plots for objects validation: MC/data comparison of objects properties before and after event selection. Corrections fucntion from proto samples.

muon selection:

  • plots of MC/data comparison of GOOD muon's eta, pt, phi, etcone20, author, dR to the closest truth muon
  • same plots as above, after ttbar events selection and reconstruction.

Etmiss performance

ttbar l+jet channel
  • Plot: ETxy_miss resolution v.s. sumEt in ttbar l+jet channel

  • Plot: ETxy_miss bias v.s. trueEt in ttbar l+jet channel

  • Plot: ET_miss calivration factor v.s.s trueEt in ttbar l+jet channel
ttbar di-l channel:
  • Plot: ETxy_miss resolution v.s. sumEt in ttbar l+l channel

  • Plot: ETxy_miss bias v.s. trueEt in ttbar l+l channel

Background shape estimations

  • Wjets shape estimation:
    • Plot: cospsi shape distribution of different samples ( event selection tuned for Wjets, other samples is little selected

    • Plot: FL variance with different shape of background (change fit variables in one sigma) subtraction

    • Plot: FR variance with different shape of background (change fit variables in one sigma) subtraction
